The Basis For A Successful Grand Bargain
There has been much talk about a possible “grand bargain” between the Carney government and the Canadian oilpatch to significantly reduce oil and gas sector GHG emissions, expand market access to overseas markets and achieve material upstream production growth since Alberta Premier Danielle Smith coined the phrase at a press conference following a meeting between Prime Minister Mark Carney and Canada’s 13 premiers in Saskatoon in early June.
